“Heal me, Oh Lord, and I will be healed.” Jer. 17:14

Welcome to the Cyber Support Group.

This blog is prayerfully created to help those who have survived childhood sexual abuse. I am a survivor of physical, emotional, sexual, and psychological abuse that was done to me for many years. I was also gang raped at the age of fourteen – I know your pain!

“For by His stripes we are healed.” Is. 53:5

Some background about me:

I was married to a wonderful Christian man for eighteen years and when he went to be with the Lord God rattled my cage and I became a follower of Jesus Christ soon after my husbands death. I had never known love until the Lord brought me my husband. He taught me what unconditional love is.

In 1994 I began leading the “Angel Group” support group. The ministry went to a non-profit, (501c3) Elah Ministries, Inc. in 2003. It is funded totally by donations and the proceeds from the sales of my books.

Let me be perfectly clear here. I am not a licensed counselor. Through the years of my own healing journey I learned the Lord Jesus knows our deep hurts and those deep areas that are not always apparent. He is the Great Physician and promises to manifest Himself in John 14:21. “…He who loves me will be loved by My Father, and I too will love him and show Myself to him.” (emphasis mine)

For fourteen years I led Christian based support groups in Georgia and in various states across the U.S. Also, as a part of this ministry I published a small magazine, “Angel’s by Grace” for four and a half years wherein all submissions were by survivors. I have shared some of those testimonies on this blog. I have given testimonies across this land and I have seven published books. All are Christian based, both fiction & non-fiction. My latest is, “The Narrow Road.”  It is a true story.

Obviously I cannot predict who may be triggered by what. We are all at various levels of healing.

If you are not now in counseling then prayerfully consider seeking counseling if need be. We cannot attain deep healing by going it alone.

At the bottom of each post is an area for comments. Your comments can be encouraging to others.

If you have confidential comments/questions feel free to e-mail me at: Those conversations are private and confidential.

I pray Cyber Support Group will be a blessing to you and that you will gain insight and draw closer to He who loves you and wants you to be all that He created you to be. Freedom from the issues from sexual abuse takes work! I pray the Lord will give you His strength and perseverance to be willing to do whatever is needed to attain that freedom.  Blessings to you as we empower and encourage each other.

“But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God’s love for ever and ever.” Ps. 52:8

    • Thank you so much Rolain for your kind words. My prayer is that what the Lord has brought me through can be used to help others. Otherwise it seems it was all for nothing. But God is awesome and will use what was meant for evil for good and His glory. Blessings to you and thank you for following.
