I’ll bet you haven’t heard the story of Jonah and the whale told like this. She is precious!

About Sue Cass

I am a follower of Jesus Christ and an abuse survivor. I am the founder & C.E.O. of Elah Ministries, Inc. A non-profit 501c3 ministry that offers hope, healing, and deliverance to hurting souls. I have seen the Grace of God work mightily in both individual lives (mine included) and through the support groups I have led. Elah Ministries, Inc. is supported strictly by donations and the proceeds from the sale of my books. My prayer is that all hurting souls may find God's freedom through His Grace, mercy, and healing. I have also penned six published books, both fiction and non-fiction, hoping to enlighten, uplift, and entertain in a way that honors my Heavenly Father and draws my readers closer to our Lord Jesus Christ. May God bless you with His peace, hope, love, and joy as you follow Jesus Christ.

  1. I found you from another blog. This is such a great story, as I am a Christian woman —I also grew up in an alcoholic family whom has now detached as I witnessed for 20 years and planted the seeds, it is up to God to get them to water and grow. I am 48 and remember my dad coming home drunk and plopping onto of my sleeping body, I felt so smothered, he’d kiss me all over…either way he died last year, not to heaven he did not go…he said to me one week before he died, “you go to your heaven and I will go to mine.” Sad but true. Like I said I am going to heaven and if others want to join me that is great, but I sure will not go to HELL. Bless you my friend. Jackie

    • Thank you Jackie for the follow and I’m sorry your Dad never stepped into the light. But you have and praise God for His love, mercy, and healing. Blessings to you.
